Huawei to release its quad-cam device on September 22

Huawei smartphone with four cameras coming soon

Following reports that Huawei is planning on releasing a device which comes to market with four cameras, two on the front panel and another dual camera setup on the back, the tech company has confirmed the official launch for September 22.

The official confirmation comes weeks after the device was spotted on benchmarking website and was speculated to be the much rumored Huawei Rhone device although it has been confirmed to be the Maimang 6 according to TENAA listing.

Recall that the device which features almost the same design as the expected Mate 10 was mistaken and according to the tech company will be launching in China.

The Miamang 6 will however debut in other countries as a member of the G-series as applicable to the Miamang 5 which was released in China last year but entered other regions as the Huawei G9 Plus.

For specs, the Miamang 6 is expected to come sporting a 5.9-inch display same as in the Mate 10 and a dual camera setup of 16MP + 2MP on the rear side and a 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the front panel.

Under the hood, a yet to be announced octa-core processor will be directing the affairs while 4GB of RAM and 64GB ROM will be paired on the device which boasts of a battery capacity of 3,240 mAh.
