The smartphone competition is all over the air but the Chinese are playing the game with a skill they love very well — copy and paste.
LG and Samsung are both from South Korea and each year, they both release flagships that pretty much have similar specs but do not resemble each other, and are never announced or released on the same dates.
Well, many Chinese phone manufacturers don’t respect business boundaries, and that’s why they blatantly copy the hell out of each other and other successful top brands.
Xiaomi will be unveiling the MiPhone 4 on the 22nd of July, we already know that. But then, Huawei, out of nowhere, decides July 22 is the best date to introduces it’s own Honor X smartphone, a lineup that was specifically built to challenge Xiaomi phones in the price department.
We don’t know yet about the specs of the Huawei Honor X, as it seems the preparations were rushed up to meet schdules and there haven’t been time for media outings for the unannounced smartphone.
We’ll keep you updated on both the Huawei Honor X and the Xiaomi Mi 4
