iBall Andi Sprinter 4G comes with universal remote functionality


iBall has finally launched the Andi Sprinter 4G LTE smartphone some months after it first unveiled the Cobalt Solus 4G. The New Delhi indigenous smartphone maker offers the device out at Rs. 7,099.
The iBall Andi Sprinter smartphone key feature is the incorporation of the Universal IR Remote application which allows users control other electronic devices such as Televisions, DVD players and more, in short, the Universak IR Remote application makes the smartphone not just a phone but also a remote device for controlling other setup systems using the embedded IR transmitter.

Andi Sprinter 4G supports a dual-SIM function and runs on an Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with a 5-inch (480×854 pixels) FWVGA IPS display boasting of a pixel density of around 195.9ppi and powered by a 64-bit Quad-core processor clocked at a speed of 1GHz and coupled a rather low with 1GB Of RAM an Mali-T720 GPU.

The smartphone has an 8MP autofocus primary rear-facing camera with LED for lighting and a 3.2MP front facing camera on the front panel all backed up on the 8GB of storage memory of which only 4.40GB is accessible to user and can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.

The Andi Sprinter 4G is said to support up to 9 regional languages and is preloaded with about 21 languages to support keyboard functions. For connectivity, th smartphone offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, micro-USB and Bluetooth powered by the smartphone’s 2100mAh battery. The device is available in Special Gold and Wine colours with a free protective cover in the box and has some preloaded Applications on it including Privacy Guard, Backup and Restore, BlackBox, Citrus Cube, Clean Master, Hungama Music, and others.
