In India, iBall launched Andi Uddaan Mini smartphone with emergency button

A phone with a dedicated SOS button? Yes, that’s what iBall, a major playmaker in the Indian smartphone industry and who might sound unfamiliar in the other corners of the world, has made.

If you are among the type that usually find themselves in trouble,¬† this smartphone will alert passersby and eventually, the police, when you press it’s emergency button. But then, be careful not to use this siren blower unnecessarily to avoid being caught up in real trouble.

The iBall Andi Uddaan Mini features a dual SIM slot, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and a quad-core chipset. The smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and is equiped both sides with a 3MP main and 0.3MP secondary camera respectively.

The phone comes with a 1400mAh battery, and for all the troubles saved, one unit of the Andi Uddaan Mini will set you back INR 5,699.
