InFocus M370 and M812 to get Marshmallow Update by December

Smartphone manufacturer InFocus has recently announced its plans to bring the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to its M370 and M812 smartphones starting December although specifics about the update rollout as to whether it’ll be available for download OTA (Over The Air) or manually through system has not been confirmed yet by the company. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is expected to bring new features to the device such as new and secured application permissions, Android pay: mobile payment system which is not official on the Marshmallow update, new and Updated Google Chrome browser features in other to better user’s browsing experience with a better Web link handling feature, New Do Not Disturb Notification profile mode which blocks all sounds, notifications or alarms only and a new feature for sounds and vibrate mode also on the update is a new feature allowing better battery power management called Doze feature, RAM manager, new app drawers, adoptable storage devices, auto backup and app restore with the support for USB Type-C ports.
Recall that both smartphones to receive the update, the InFocus M370 and M812 were launched earlier this year in July and went on sale just a couple of months ago with both smartphones running on Android 5.0 Lollipop with the highly customisable InLife UI custom skin on top. It is expected that the company would release a newer version of its InLife UI based Android M with the update.
