Coming just weeks after Apple officially unveiled the latest iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the premium range iPhone X, the tech company has been thrown a major jab as a user has claimed that a unit of the iPhone 8 Plus exploded while in use.
The recent report indicates that the iPhone 8 Plus which comes into the market powered by the latest Apple A11 chipset with 3GB of RAM under the hood has been riddled with several issues including the crackling noise issue which surfaces while users are making calls although Apple has promised to fix the issue soonest.
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus which have been available across several markets since September 22 was reported to have witnessed a case explosion in Taiwan.
The Taiwanese media reported that the gold variant of the iPhone 8 Plus with 64GB of onboard storage memory belonging to a woman exploded on September 23.
The woman was reported to have attested that the unit of the iPhone 8 was working fine until a day before the explosion occurred.
The iPhone 8 Plus unit was reported to be on 70 percent of battery charge before the explosion occurs.
