Three of India’s biggest smartphone players are about to join the Windows Phone bandwagon. Micromax and Xolo joined recently with the introduction of Micromax Canvas Win W121 and Xolo Win Q900S respectively and now Karbonn has hinted towards it’s desire to join the race.
The company said through it’s executive director, Shashin Devsare, that it will out not one, not two, but three smartphones powered by Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system.
The three devices, as stated by Shashin, will be priced within the range of INR 8,000 and INR 15,000 (about $130 and $250 USD).
Karbonn didn’t mention any specific dates about the launch of the smartphones but with the excitement concealed in Shashin’s chat with The Economic Times, we are likely to see the phones as near as next month.
