Lava Z60 officially launched

Lava has officially launched yet another smartphone into the Indian market creating as much fanfare as possible.

The tech company pulled back the covers on the Lava Z60 smartphone in India coming in the Black and Gold color variants.

The official launch of the device comes after it was spotted on benchmarking website, Geekbench some weeks ago showing off the expected design and specifications.

The Lava Z60 comes into the market as a competition to the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi 4, Redmi 4A, Nokia 3 and the Moto C Plus device.

As for specs, the Lava Z60 comes into the market packing a 5.0-inch FWVGA display with a screen resolution pegged at 854 x 480 pixels.

Under the hood, the Lava Z60 packs a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor clocked at as speed of 1.2GHz and paired with 1GB RAM and an onboard storage space of 16GB which can further be expanded to as much as 32GB using a microSD card.

The Android 7.0 Nougat OS running device has been promised the Android 8.0 Oreo OS update and for optics comes packing a 5MP main camera with a 5MP camera loaded also on the front panel.

Other connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi and dual SIM support all powered by a 2,500mAh battery capacity.
