Android smartphones are launched in numbers every year and every year likewise, fans of different brands are always concerned with the time when updates to the latest version of the Android platform would be rolled out to them.. While high-end device users of various OEMs are always sure to get the updates (albeit it may come late), the mid-range and entry-level types almost never get the update or get it too late into the year when a new version might have been brewing or might have even dropped. This is why it is important and resourceful when brands release their timetables for update rollouts.
Lenovo has decided to go this way with its smartphones too and has drew up a detailed calendar of when its devices would be getting the update to the Marshmallow 6.0. The Lenovo devices that would surely be getting the go signal for the 6.0 upgrade are the K3 Note, Vibe S1, Vibe P1, A7000 and A7000 Plus.
Vibe P1 and Vibe S1 users should be expecting Marshmallow on their devices as early as June of next year while the users of the others (A7000, A7000 Plus and the Lenovo K3 note) would be getting theirs later in September.
