LG Electronics have unveiled a more powerful version of it’s G3 flagship smartphone in it’s home country of Korea, just like Samsung did with the GS5 (GS 5 LTE-A)

The LG G3 LTE-A, LG G3 Cat. 6 or LG G3 Prime (name is dependent on market) comes with the ever-powerful Qualcomm
Snapdragon 805 chipset which all but matches the task of effectively powering the Quad HD display on the LG G.

Apart from the new processor which also comes with a quad-core 2.5GHz Krait 450 CPU and an Adreno 420 graphics¬† processor, all other features including design language, 3000mAh battery, 13MP camera,¬†1440 x 2560 pixels 5.5″ screen, etc., remain unchanged from the classic LG G3.

However, the LG G3 Cat. 6 comes with 32GB of expandable storage and 3GB of RAM even though the G3 offers both 2GB of RAM/16GB storage and 3GB RAM/32GB storage. That’s a win whatsoever, for people who will buy the G3 Cat. 6.

In Korea, the LG G3 Cat. 6 will be available on retail starting from July 25. There’s yet no talk on when the hybrid phone will be extended to other parts of the globe.
