Android 6.0 Marshmallow is about to be rolled out to the LG G3 smartphone as announced by the company, the update which is set to arrive between December 16 and December 18 will start from Poland.
Reports from Poland indicated that the Marshmallow update is in its final testing stages and is in fact ready to be rolled out. The reports stated that the update rollout will start from Poland the be made available in other regions, it is to be noted that LG had followed this particular pattern in the roll out of previous updates which includes the recent Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update for its LG G4 device. The LG G3 which was originally launched with the Android KitKat 4.4.2 out-of-the-box was in June announced that it would not be receiving the Android 5.1 or the 5.1.1 Lollipop OS version as the company is not new to skipping updates roll out for their devices as it could be noted that the LG G3 moved from the Android 4.4.2 KitKat to the Android 5.0 Lollipop skipping the 4.4.3 and 4.4.4 OS versions.
The LG G3 had been rumoured to be next in line for the Marshmallow update as a few tech firms had detailed the road map of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow roll out to include Asus, OnePlus, Lenovo, Honor, Sony and other devices.
