Reports coming out from China has suggested that South Korean OEM, LG is behind the producing of screens that were/will be used in making the upcoming Apple iPhone 6.

The company beat fierce competition by Samsung , Sharp and Japan Display to become Apple’s most desired contractor for the best and biggest iPhone yet.

Sources claim that Apple have ordered materials for about 80 million iPhone 6 units. The assembling of these smartphones is currently being carried out by Foxconn in China but we can’t confirm if the reported space-age robots were eventually employed for the job.

Apple is expected to launch two iPhones this year. A 4.7″ iPhone 6 is imminent for a September announcement while a larger 5.5″ iPhone 6L phablet has been pushed back as late as December.
