Mother of innovations Google's Project Ara modular smartphone to cost $50, with upgradeable partsGoogle has announced a developers’ conference for it’s ‘Project Ara’ idea, which was initiated at Motorola before the company was bought by Lenovo.

Project Ara is an innovative project which will see smartphones produced in a PC-like way; Where users can easily upgrade the parts of their phones using newer ones. Come to think of it this way:
If a new screen comes out, or when a new CPU comes out with more memory, you don’t have to get rid of the entire phone. All you need is to buy the new CPU from a Project Ara kiosk, remove the old CPU and replace it with the newer, faster CPU — just like you change your phone’s battery! Now that’s innovation.

Google has scheduled an Ara Developers’ Conference on April 15 and 16. The conference will hold at Mountain View, California and will be streamed online to the whole world when the moment arrives. Google says that the Project Ara is designed for 6 billion people, meaning that it’s going to make a phone 85% of the world can afford.
