Coming months after Lenovo owned Motorola revealed that the Moto X Pure will be getting the Android Nougat OS update, the company has finally started pushing out the update to the phone.
Recall that back in April, the tech company promised users of the Moto X Pure the Nougat update and after five months of waiting, the update has been distributed to some units of the smartphones.
The Nougat update for the Moto X Pure however comes with the September 1 security update patch which means users will not be getting any more update in the month except for possible bug fixes if any.
It is however uncertain whether the update rollout is for the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update or the Android 7.0 OS version.
The OS update release however comes into play with a revamped notification system and a better User Interface which allows the Moto X Pure users to enjoy other features such as the multi-window and split-screen function.
Also, the update brings with it ability to quickly switch between apps, Doze on the Go for battery management, Data Saver option, custom quick settings and many more.
The Moto X Pure comes into the market packing 3GB of RAM and runs of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with a 21MP camera sensor on the back panel.
