Just hours ago after this post was published, we received information from our source bout Motorola’s Turbo 2 who have reported receiving notification for Android 6.0 update.
Well the data’s are incomplete and only a few and we could not consider it official, so until not it’s unclear whether new update started rolling out to Turbo 2 devices, or merely just a soak test for the device with Marshmallow build.
So those who just received notification update say the process will be done in two parts, second one transforming the device software to version 24.14.10.
So Android 6.0 brings a Doze to DROID Turbo 2. So when the device has become in active for a period of time, this will then go into deep sleep automatically, this feature is where it shuts down all running apps in the device. So with that, it increases standby time and obviously improves battery life.
The said update allows users to modify app permissions whether they allow it or simply deny permission based on feature.
DROID Turbo 2 from Motorola offers shatterproof screen this was a pioneering feature. The phone was launched with a pre installed Android 5.1 operating system. Original DROID Turbo, running Android 5.1, also expected to received Android 6.0 udpate.
