MTN has announced it’s latest prepaid plan, the MTN Pulse tarrif plan.
MTN Pulse is a new plan on the MTN network that allows users call fellow MTN Pulse subscribers at an intra-community rate of 10 kobo per second; other MTN customers at the rate of 30 kobo/second and while calls to other networks are charged at 35 kobo per second. These call rates take effect after the first minute of call at 58 kobo per second for the day.MTN Pulse

MTN Pulse tariff plan also gives subscribers ‘Pulse Bonus’ on recharge, Pulse SMS chat and Free midnight call to any MTN number from 12:30am to 4:30am when you have a minimum balance of N100 naira.

How To Migrate To MTN Pulse

To mirate to the new MTN Pulse Prepaid Tariff Plan:
Send 406 in an SMS to 131 or simply dail *406# on your phone.
Migration is free but if you have switched tariff plans within the previous 30 days, you will be charged 100 naira for the MTN Pulse migration.

More Benefits Of MTN Pulse

You will be credited with a bonus 10mb browsing data when you recharge your phone with 100 naira or above. The 10mb browsing data expires in one week, you can get the 10mb data bonus only once per seven days regardless of how many times you recharge.
Also MTN Pulse subscribers can text CHAT to 33117 to join Pulse Chat for free.


The MTN Pulse chat is good for students and the youth. The 10mb browsing data saves you extra spending for browsing data.
