Coming after the official unveiling of the Nokia 7 device some weeks after the premium range Nokia 8 was released into the market packed with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and paired with at most 6GB of RAM, HMD Global in partnership with Nokia has been reported to be planning a possible unveiling of the mid-range Nokia 2 device.
The Nokia 2 according to latest spotting online has passed the Bluetooth SIG certification test which means the device may soon be introduced into the market.
However, unlike other certification listing, the Nokia 2 which was spotted on the Bluetooth certification website did not come with details as regards the specs.
The certification website however revealed that there will be multiple variants of the device coming into the market.
The latest certification comes after the phone had already been certified in Russia by regulators. The Nokia 2 has also been listed by a US retailer briefly and was revealed to be coming at about $99 per unit.
The device has however been speculated to be coming into the market packing a 4,000mAh battery paired with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 or 212 processor.
