Coming after Nokia in partnership with HDM Global launched the Nokia 8 device which comes with amazing specs, dual camera setup on the back panel and the ‘Bothie’ feature, the tech company seems to be gearing up for the launch of the Nokia 2 smartphone.
Coming hours after the Nokia 9 was spotted on benchmarking website, the Nokia 2 has passed the FCC certification in the US.
The documentation revealed that the smartphone will come packing a 4,000 mAh battery to keep the lights on and in addition will feature a 5-inch HD display screen with a screen resolution pegged at 720 x 1280 pixels.
Under the hood, the device is expected to come running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 SoC paired with 1GB of RAM and some countries will get the MediaTek powered variant of the smartphone.
The Nokia 2 is expected to rollout with the Android 7.0 Nougat running on it and an 8MP camera on the rear panel while the front portion houses a 5MP sensor.
Reports however indicate that the upcoming device will not come packing the fingerprint sensor.
