Following the official unveiling of the Nokia 8 smartphone from the stables of Nokia and HDM global some days ago, the smartphone which boasts of a specific feature known as the “Bothie” feature which allows users use both the front and rear camera simultaneously has been the talk of the tech world in terms of its specs.
However, following the official unveiling of the device, the tech companies have released the Nokia 8 up for pre-order in some select regions including Germany and it comes cheaper than expected.
The smartphone which has been rumored to be coming with a price tag of as much a $900 surfaced online carrying a price tag og $712.
According to retailer JD Hi-fi in Australia, the smartphone will be available on pre-order for AUD 899.
However, official shipment of the device is not expected to start until September 7.
A quick recap of the specs loaded on the Nokia 8 reveals the latest device to be packing a 5.3-inch screen with a display resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels layered with the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection and under the hood, the device will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset paired with the Adreno 540 GPU for graphics.
For camera, it comes packing a dual 13MP camera setup on the rear panel and a 13MP sensor on the front panel along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB ROM or the 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM variant.
