The people who earn their living at Nokia’s Dongguan factory in China have started a peaceful protest against the sale of the Finnish company(their factory inclusive) to Microsoft.
Nokia shareholders are on the course of deciding if they will allow Microsoft to acquire the fallen phone giant for €5.4 billion aka $7.2 or £4.6 billion.
The workers were seen marching with posters that read, “Do not sell us, we have dignity and human rights”. They are not too happy with Microsoft’s acquisition of their parent company and seem to be agitating for a compensation to be paid to them.
These folks are not alone in their course, numerous Nokia fans from all over the world have called on Nokia to shun Microsoft’s acquisition, and instead turn to manufacturing Android phones which many have claimed to be the only way forward for Nokia.
