If you live in Africa’s biggest country and you want to experience Android on Nokia hardware, Microsoft has released the Nokia X2, and it’s for you.

The Nokia X2 sports a 4.3″ ClearBlack display, a 5MP/0.3MP camera unit equipped with LED flash, 1GB of RAM and a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU. Powering the smartphone is a 1800mAh battery which can last 10 hours of phone call, on paper.

“The Nokia X2 is designed to help the next billion people connect to the mobile Internet and cloud services, affordably,” said Deborah Shepard, Head of Marketing, Nokia West and Central Africa.

The Nokia X2 has been launched in dozens of other countries including the Philippines and India.
