The users of the Sony Xperia line of handsets have been waiting for a long time to know when they would finally be able to get their own smartphones running in the Nougat 7.0 platform too. When Sony then announced the smartphones that would be getting the update last month and included some devices in this list, it was a lot of excitement for them but frustration was soon to kick in again as the timeframe for the rollout wasn’t announced with it.
However, the Slovakian arm of the phone manufacturing company might have let slip the timeframe for the Nougat to get featured on some of their smartphones in a presentation slide. If the information on the slide should hold true, it means that we would see the Nougat rollout to Xperia XZ and X Performance in the month of October while November would see the update of the Xperia X and X Compact.
From this leak, it was also confirmed that the Xperia XZ would be made available for sale starting from the first week in the month of October and at this time, it wold be released for a price of $699.99.
