Nvidia Shield Tablet K1 with 5MP launched

Nvidia launched the Shield Tablet last year at a pricing of Roughly Rs. 19,000 although it had to recall some of the tablets because of the battery overheating issues which could possibly lead to fire hazard. The company has on Tuesday relaunched the Nvidia Shield Tablet which it named this time as the Shield Tablet K1 at a pricing of approximately Rs. 13,000. The tablet which is available on Amazon and BestBuy as well as the company’s store is targeted at gamers in the US, Canada and other European countries. The company has also announced and listed the Wi-Fi version of the Shield Tablet K1.
The Nvidia Shield Tablet K1 which runs on an Android 5.0 Lollipop spots an 8-inch IPS display with a screen resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and powered by a Quad-core Nvidia Tegra K1 4+1 core processor clocked at a speed of 2.2GHz NS a 192-core Kepler GPU For graphics. The tablet is embedded with an internal storage capacity of 16GB and a RAM size of 2GB.
For connectivity, the smartphone supports Micro-USB, Mini-HDMI, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, Wi-Fi, GPS / GLONASS and is equipped with a 5MP front and rear camera.
The company claims the Shield Tablet K1 measuring 221x126x9.2mm will receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in some months.
