Facebook Messenger Supports Multi log in

The rumor was all about updates on Facebook Messenger soon to support SMS and even multiple accounts. And today day the second rumor just came in reality.

Thru its recent update, Facebook Messenger now supports multi-accounts, in which the company framing it as feature for families that are using single device to access its Messenger accounts.

So the new account setting shows up in the pane where user can then log to their account. And from  there, they can now choose to require password the time they access their account, or just leave it open for anyone who want to access.

If your accounts are then password protected, the new messages will not show up but instead the number and the account name only, but for now this messenger app feature is only for Android. Still no word when this will be available on iOS.
