Ahead of the official release of the limited edition JCC+ variant of the OnePlus 5 which will be launched on September 22 in Paris, France at a Colette store, the tech company has hinted on the possibility of the Android 8.0 Oreo OS.
The hint comes after the OnePlus 5 was spotted testing the latest Android OS update yesterday.
The claim was made bold by a recent post made by the tech company via its Twitter account in which the company hinted that the official update to the latest OS will soon behind.
The tweet from the tech company’s official page on Twitter reads:
“You’ve heard of Elf on the Shelf, now get ready for”.
The tweet could however hint that the OS update will not be coming until Christmas given the fact that the tech company had announced that all updates will be pushed out to the OnePlus 3, OnePlus 3T, and the OnePlus 5 before the end of the year.
The company has already begun work on the update based on the OxygenOS.
