The Oppo R1S is aiming to be a global version of the Oppo R1, which was  released last year in China. Both phones strike similar features except the R1S is lighter at 136 grams, has a bigger RAM (2GB compared to 1GB) and of course, more powerful with 1.6GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 on top of a new Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 chipset.

Oppo R1S still maintains the 5″ HD display, but now runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and has a 13MP rear camera.
