Oppo has uncovered the veil on R1S, a mid-range smartphone they listed on their website for CNY 2498, or roughly $400 in USD.
Oppo R1S sports a 5″ display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset alongside Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
The handset also features a 13MP rear-facing camera equipped with LED flash; and on the front there sits a 5MP selfie unit.
Like it’s predecessor, the R1, Oppo R1S has a 16GB storage and misses out on the presence of a microSD card slot.
The R1S gets it’s power from a 2410mAh battery. And while it’s still available only in white color, the smartphone will be booting Android 4.3 Jelly Bean skinned with Color OS 1.2 UI out of the box.
