The giant Chinese Smartphone producer Oppo to setup a new manufacturing somewhere in Noida with investment of around Rs 100 crore, The mentioned unit maker will have a total capacity of around 10 million units and will be operational by August of 2016.
As Oppo started contract in manufacturing in India with Foxconn as its primary partner November of 2015. The moment the company said that some of its devices will be manufactured in India and also be exported to overseas mobile markets. The company will continue to produce device in partnership with Foxconn when its facility becomes operational.
Interestingly, Oppo said in 2015 around May that they will set up its handset manufacturing in India by August of the same year in order to cater the mobile market in the country. However, Oppo executives decided hurrying it by setting a plant in India, and choosing Foxconn as partner for them to manufacture the units.
Indian government encouraging companies outside country to start its manufacturing of electronics goods in their country instead of just importing it, this was the government plane since the mobile market had grown drastically and most branded company started to build their own manufacturing facility in the country.
