Entry of an unreleased device we ran into at GFXBench says it’s called Oppo U3 and will feature a 4.6-inch display with 1080p resolution. We don’t know the form of this device yet but last time we checked, Oppo released a smartphone with a motorized swivel camera that can cover main camera functions and yet take your selfies with the full power of it’s wide-angle 16-megapixel rear camera and dual-tone flash. What yours’ truly is suggesting is that the U3 might turn out to be a flip smartphone or something else weirder for this current age, judging from it’s odd screen size.
The rest of the specs you’ll find on the Oppo U3 is a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5MP front-facing webcam. The smartphone will be powered by a 2GB RAM and octa-core 1.7GHz MT6752 processor and oddly enough, there will be 1.1GB of user-available storage on the phone. However, there’s likely going to be a microSD card slot present.
The rest of the info shows the device is running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat and has a single SIM slot just like the Lenovo A606. There’s no info on when this device will break cover or if it’s going to be available outside of China but we hope to get you updated soon enough.
