Qualcomm Signs $2billion MoU with Lenovo, Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi

Qualcomm Technologies Inc. a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated known for its massive and powerful chips amongst other products has announced its partnership through four memoranda of understanding (MoU) for sales worth at least $2 billion with Lenovo Group, Guangdong OPPO Mobile Telecommunications Corp, Vivo Communication Technology and Xiaomi Communications.

Qualcomm Technologies, known to have been a longstanding supporter of the Chinese mobile ecosystem entered into the agreement with the four companies responsible for the production of Lenovo, OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi devices.

The latest signing comes as a further show of support and committment to the Chinese mobile ecosystem and brands.

The president, Qualcomm Incorporated, Cristiano Amon stated that the MoU  is part of the company’s “strategy to continue to grow our RF front-end business,”

He maintained; “Our robust RF front-end solutions help these OEMs to not only build power-efficient devices at scale in a cost-effective way, but also to deliver advanced mobile devices to consumers not just in China, but around the world.”,
