Rogers sends update to support WiFi Calling on Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge wifi callingWi-Fi calling has been around for a while now, especially on android devices, and Rogers is currently one of the newest mobile carriers to join the league of those that offer this kind of service to their android based customers. Having already rolled out an update of the same kind to users of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the LG G4 device, the latest android smartphone to join this esteemed club is the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge which Rogers just released an update to for the enablement of Wi-Fi calling on the device.

However, it is reported that using this Wi-Fi option to call would not cost you less than it would have taken you to call via the cellular network. Oh well, at least, there is the option there.

If you have for yourself a nice Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, you could head over to Settings right now and manually check for updates to bump up your own piece of hardware also.
