It’s about time when Meizu updates its battleship Mx lineup. Even though the Mx4 was released only four months back in September while the more recent Meizu Mx4 Pro went official in November, the company looking at a 6-month age gap between the two flagship generations.
Specs for the unannounced, yet-to-be-released Meizu Mx5, according to sources in China, 5.5-inch Quad HD display. The exact resolution of the touchscreen is still to be confirmed as Meizu is known for using “weired” resolutions on smartphones. Meanwhile, the smartphone is said to be loaded with a 64-bit MediaTek chipset (the MediaTek MT6752 most likely) and 4GB of RAM.
Additionally, the same source suggests the smartphone purportedly features a whooping 41-megapixel camera made by Nokia, okies. This is quite believable as the Mx4 and Mx4 Pro had 21MP Sony cameras and this could be due time for an upgrade in the camera department.
