The Samsung Galaxy S4 has surpassed 40 million units in sales numbers, while the all-new Galaxy Note 3 is enjoying good sales (ie 5 million units sold in first month).

Samsung, the current world’s largest phone maker, was reported as selling 1 million phones daily, so the milestone shouldn’t be a hard one to reach.

Mr. Shin also forcasted that LTE (4G) will be available in 50% of phones worldwide by 2017 and that Samsung needs to focus more on software than hardware as market demands are changing.
