Google released Android 4.4 KitKat operating system back in November last year on an open source OS which means that anyone is free to install Android on his device, regardless if money is being made, without paying for the installation.

Here is a list of Samsung Galaxy devices that will get KitKat soon:

Samsung Galaxy Note 3
Samsung Galaxy Note II
Samsung Galaxy S4
Samsung Galaxy S4 mini
Samsung Galaxy S4 Active
Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom
Samsung Galaxy S III
Samsung Galaxy S III mini
Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3
Samsung Galaxy Light
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1

That being said, users of the above Galaxy devices in the US should be sharpening their devices for update. We would love to hear about how the update improves or (less probably) deteriorate your device.
