Just last month, Samsung was said to have identified a security flaw in the operating system of the 2016 model of their Galaxy A5 and releasing an update to fix that, they never really told us that flaw it was that they were addressing at the time. Just less than three weeks after that, Samsung is back with another one and the same device has a new update that is rolling out to it. Shouldn’t Galaxy A5 (2016) model users just feel happy at this level of support?
With the last update came the security patch for the month of November likewise but with this new one, the security fix for the month of December is yet to be included in the overall package as the system date is still left at November 1. Likewise, as Samsung had done on the previous release, the exact security issues that needs fixing has not been revealed and we don’t expect to get that changelog either.
Already rolling out to the units of the device in the regions of Europe and Africa, it is expected to hit other regions too soonest and it weighs in at just 128MB.
