South Korean tech company, Samsung has begun pushing out the Android 7.0 Nougat OS to some of its smartphones in India.
The affected smartphones on the latest OS update schedule include the Galaxy A5 (2017) and the Galaxy A7 (2017).
The updates being pushed out are arriving with the firmware version A520FXXUBQI5 and A720FXXU2BQI2 for the A5 (2017) and the A7 (2017) respectively.
The update has been reported to be weighing in at around 1.4GB.
The changes which Samsung is pushing with the update to the smartphones include the improved notifications and the Quick settings interface. Also, the update will bring the multi-window feature along with it while Samsung made sure to add improvements relating to AOD.
The update also comes packing other features including the Dual Messenger and Samsung Pass.
The OTA update should have been pushed to your phone by now, just proceed to the Settings icon on your phone and search for updates. In case you’re get to get the update on your device, the roll out is gradual and should be available in some days.
