Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) Starts Getting Android Nougat OS Update

The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) is following in line with the Galaxy A7 (2017) as it has started getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update.

The South Korean tech company began the roll out of the OS to smartphones in Russia with the OS update coming with some major functional and performance changes to include newer interface, Multi Window ability, enhanced notification bar and some other Samsung owned apps such as the Samsung Pass, and of course, an improvement on the Always On Display functionality.

To get the update on your Galaxy A5 (2017), proceed to the menu options and access the settings icon from where you should proceed to the Software Update tab.

The download file for most region has been pegged at about 1.3GB.

It is however unsure whether the update will bring along with it the Dual Messenger option as it was not explicitly listed on the provided list of available upgrades.
