Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a removable plastic back cover, battery, but no SD card slot

Samsung Galaxy Alpha is one of the most hotly anticipated devices in the Samsung crowd. The metal-clad device has already been outed in a couple of leaks revealing it’s meta framing and perforated polycarbonate back that resembles that of the Samsung Galaxy S5.

However, a set of new pictures which came in today shows that the device will have a removable back cover, and thus, a user-removable battery probably unlike the Apple iPhone 6 it has been gunning at.

But then, the source where the pictures came from affirmed that the Galaxy Alpha is lacking a microSD card and will be packing a nano SIM slot.

We’ve already told you that the Samsung Galaxy Alpha is having a 4.7″ touchscreen display and the presense of an LTE-A symbol printed in one the pictures shows that the phone will be powered by either a Snapdragon 801, 805 or an LTE Exynos chipset (as suggested by earlier reports), as this are the only options Samsung normally work with in their high-end devices.

With the absence of space for memory cards, the Galaxy Alpha will have 32GB of storage space while a fingerprint sensor embedded on the home key and a heart rate monitor at the back are all said to be in tow.
