Much have been said recently about Samsung’s metal smartphone which will set out to compete with Apple’s iPhone 6 but we haven’t got so close to the device until now.
Outed by a Samsung-motivated SAMMOBILE blog, the leaked variant of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha was said to be modeled Samsung SM-G850.
The phone was laid side by side to the Samsung Galaxy S5 (above), and you can clearly see the size difference (the Galaxy Alpha is very much smaller).
Specs associated with the upcoming smartphone clearly indicates it’s moving to compete directly with Apple’s upcoming iPhone 6. The Galaxy Alpha is said to be having a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with yet an unknown resolution.
The device will be powered by a Samsung Exynos chipset enabled with LTE. A fingerprint sensor and heart rate monitor are also in tow. Samsung also blatantly added a nano SIM card slot and a 32GB of non-expandable storage, all in a metal body — just like Apple does.
If the specs are to be believed then Samsung is truly desperate to quench the Apple iPhone 6. An anti-iPhone 6 commercial earlier this week confirmed that and we don’t need further evidence to confirm that.
