Samsung has announced the Galaxy K Zoom, a device that will succeed last year’s Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom.
The Galaxy K Zoom has a perforated back cover like the new Galaxy S5 flagship, and is thinner than last year’s Galaxy S4 Zoom.
Samsung Galaxy K Zoom has a 20.7 megapixel optical image stabilization camera with 1/2.3 BSI CMOS sensor and a 10x optical zoom.
It has a Xenon flash for camera light and a LED flash too for dual-tone and autofocus tricks.
On the phone side the Galaxy K Zoom features a 4.8″ Super AMOLED HD display. It get’s powered by Samsung’s Exynos 5 hexa-core processor with four 1.3GHz ARM Cortex A-7 and two 1.7GHz ARM Cortex A-15 cores alongside 2GB of RAM.
The device has 8GB of native storage with microSD slot for up to 64GB additional expansion. It has a SIM card slot with phone calling capabilities via 2G, 3G or LTE. Other connectivity features include NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n.
The Galaxy K Zoom runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and is powered by a 2430mAh battery.
