Samsung has taken the lids of the fourth generation model of it’s Galaxy Note series, and alongside that, a totally different kind of device dubbed the  Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Edge with a screen that spans over the side. Both smartphones run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat

This year’s Note has a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display much like last year’s Note 3, except that the former has a higher resolution at 1440 x 2560 pixels, setting the PPI at an outright 515.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is rocked by a Snapdragon 805 powerhouse which houses a 2.7GHz quad-core Krait 450 CPU and an Adreno 420 GPU.

Another variant of the phone (Samsung N910C) uses an Exynos 5433 chipset instead. This version employs a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 and 1.9GHz quad-core Cortex-A57 CPU alongside a Mali-T760 GPU. Both versions share the same 3GB of RAM.

Camera-wise, the phablet features a 16MP optically image stabilized camera with dual-tone flash and a host of tricks. Another camera with a 3.67MP sensor sits at the front of the device.

The Galaxy Note 4 has an S Pen, an aluminum outer frame finish and a host of sensors that include heart rate, Ultraviolet monitors. The phone has a user-swappable 3220mAh Li-ion battery.

This ‘weird’ tech has a 5.6″ display with 1440 x 2560 res; An extra 160 pixels was folded unto the side of the phone bringing the width to 1600 pixels. The smartphone features a stylus pen that’s attached to the back.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Edge uses either a Snapdragon 805 or an Exynos 5433 processor just like it’s Note 4 sibling. A 16MP camera and 3,000mAh battery were employed, and the microUSB port was moved back to version 2.0.
