South Korean tech company, Samsung, has begun shipping updates to some other smartphones in its line coming after the tech company hinted the Galaxy Tab and Galaxy J5 to be getting yet another Nougat OS update.

The much recently released Galaxy Note 8 which became available this September in the US although not via retail stores as most users acquired their units through pre-order, has joined in the list of smartphones getting update from the tech company.

The latest update which is being pushed out to users of the Galaxy Note  8 comes with the build number N950U1UEU1AQI5.

Users of the Galaxy Note 8 in the US should have started receiving notifications for update of their OS versions.

The latest update comes weighing in at around 81MB and comes with major bug fixes and stability improvements which include improvements for the Google Maps and the Weather widget.

Users who haven’t yet started receiving the update notification can check via their settings tab or wait for the update notification on their phones.

The update however comes lacking the September security patches  update which suggests that there might be yet another update in the works for the Galaxy Note 8 device.
