Every year, Google selects the top Android flagships, boots them with a pure brew of the latest Android OS and sell them on the Play Store as a Google Play Edition.
This year’s Samsung Galaxy S5 won’t be any differnet. We’ve already received a report that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Google Play Edition, as it will be called, is up and about to sail.
If you are familiar with GPEs, you should just picture that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Google Play Edition is just a normal Galaxy S5 without OEM-installed “bloat-ware” and stuff.
What that means is that the Galaxy S5 GPE will have the same specs, or rather, will be the same hardware as with the normal Galaxy S5.
Seeing the picture of the GS5 GPE means the phone is around. You should stay tuned to recieve updates once the device hits the ground running.
