A high-end version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 which has been in the rumor mill for quite some time now has been caught on India’s imports’ verification website.
The smartphone, named Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime, has 3GB of RAM against the 2GB found on the mainstream Samsung Galaxy S5.
Not only that, the Galaxy S5 prime has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution — that’s 2K (Quad HD) display) — and has a bigger 5.2″ physical screen size than that on the original phone.
The rest of the specs we have seen looks no different from the main phone — Android 4.4.2, 32GB (25GB user-available), 16MP and 2MP rear and front-facing cameras.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime, modeled as SM-G906, is rated at USD 506.88 on the website, where it was stated it was sent into the country for research and development issues.
