Finally, Samsung has listened to the pleas of customers in India and has brought the LTE version of it’s Galaxy S5 flagship in the South Asian country.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 that was earlier sold in India was the Exynos-powered Samsung SM-G900I which lacked LTE support and was a tad weaker than this Snapdragon 801-powered variant.
For INR 53,500 (about 891 whopping US dollars), customers can get the new Samsung Galaxy S5 with a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with a 5.1-inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM and a 2800mAh battery. The smartphone runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat mobile operating system and has a 16MP rear and 2.1MP front-facing camera combination.
The Galaxy S5 is water and dust resistant (IP67 certified), and features a fingerprint sensor and heart rate monitor.
