When Apples’ latest iPhone devices launched September of 2015, a new function called 3D Touch was introduced in addition with new functionalities like “Peek and Pop” and “Quick Actions”, this function will sense the amount of pressure applied to the device display.
And last month, leak information has been posted about Samsung’s plan to apply new features adding a pressure sensitive display to Galaxy S7 so this feature will be more similar to Apples’ “Quick Actions” and “Peek and Pop” feature.
Another feature by Apple is the 3D Touch display Live Photos. So when Live Photo is taken, it will be captured with 1.5 seconds of video before and after is taken. The still photo can be applied as device background by pressing down anywhere. Live Photos can also be set as Lock screen wallpapers and can be viewed on other Apple devices too.
Now rumors has been spreading on the internet about Samsungs plan to release its flagship device that has the feature similar to what iPhone has. As of now it is not yet confirmed since the feature is still on development. And if this feature will not be ready as Galaxy S7 launches, it may be added on the later upgrade this year.
