Samsung is hard at work at pushing the latest Android OS 8.0 Oreo to its recently released flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8 as indications exist that the tech company will soon begin the OS update roll out.

Coming after the likes of Blackberry, HTC and OnePlus have initiated the OS rollout, a new report which surfaced online indicates that Samsung is working on an Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Galaxy S8 series and the firmware version could be G955FXXU1BQI1 for the Galaxy S8 and G950FXXU1BQI1 for the S8 Plus.

However, there is no information regarding the possible schedule of the update roll out as yet although the report notes that the South Korean tech company may likely begin an official roll out of the beta version of the update soon enough.

Rumors further indicate that Samsung may not implement all the exciting features of the Android 8 Oreo on the update coming to the S8 and S8 Plus.
