Sometimes ago, we started to see the 3D renders of the new flagship units that we are expecting from Samsung and then, we got to know a few things on the design element of the device. All these were thanks to the case makers for the units. Now and again, they have helped us on another important aspect by providing to us the exact measurements of both units. The larger unit – which has been called the Galaxy S8 Plus in recent leaks and news – would have a measurement of 152.38 x 78.51 x 7.94mm. this means that the unit would be taller than the S7 Edge and likewise, wider than the old curved flagship.
The apparent size of the screen of this one would be viewed to be 6.3 inches and the true size would also be more, giving the curved sides.
For the smaller version – the standard Galaxy S8 option we would have a size element of 140.14 x 72.20 x 7.3mm instead, and this makes it a little bit shorter and eve thinner than the present S7 edge option. Not accounting for the curves on the size, this makes the screen on the smaller option some 5.7 inches. In simple terms, the Galaxy S8 would be bigger than the Galaxy S7 Edge and still have the same screen size as is evident on the Galaxy S7.
For now, that is all we have.
