Weeks after the official unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, the tech company’s 8.0-inch tablet wonder has received an armored update in the form of the Galaxy Tab Active 2.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 which has been made official comes into the market with a military build and a rugged structure.
The device which was launched in the Netherlands comes with a military-standard MIL-STD-810 certification and an IP68 water and dustproof feature.
The device comes with an 8.0-inch display with a screen resolution of 12,80 x 800 pixels.
For added security, the device comes with a fingerprint scanner under the home button and an S Pen with support for the Bixby Home and Voice.
For optics, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 comes into the market with an 8MP camera on the back panel and a 5MP camera sensor on the front panel.
The device comes priced at 500 euros and will be available in the Netherlands as from November.
