Samsung has continued with their IFA rave by seizing the moment to introduce a tablet slated the Galaxy Tab Active.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a tablet, and this is not just about tableting at home or in office, the Galaxy Tab Active can be taken to the swimming pool or to the beach, or even to war — because it’s IP56-certified dust and water proof. Plus it can withstand a fall on wood, metal, concrete from as high as 1.2 meters.
The tablet’s specifications are as follows: A TFT touchscreen that measures 8 inches diagonal at 800 x 1200 pixels depth, 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 1.5GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage, a 3.1MP/1.2 main/secondary camera setup, a 4,450mAh user replaceable battery and…a sylus pen.
The tablet measures 213.1 x 126.2 x 9.75 in millimeters and weighs in at 393 grams.
